I decided to tackle rebuilding the headlight assemblies tonight. What a nightmare. Had 4 screws break off in the aluminum assemblies. They are small #8 screws so using an extractor is a waste of time. I broke the only extractor I had small enough to attempt it. I would up drill them out and then using JB Weld to fill the metal and then I later drilled and tapped the JB Weld.

I came back out to the shop to finish cleaning up the headlight assemblies. Then I sanded the JB Weld down into the shape of the original metal and use a #8 screw tap and set it all back up right. I found my vacuum advance and installed it on my distributor and then worked on some fiberglass.
