Up Sep 09 pt 2

Sept 11th

I've been busy at work again.  I cant seem to stay fully staffed and just keep falling behind.  When that happens the Corvette suffers.  I did talk to the guy  parting out the 68 from last month again and we should be wrapped up soon.  He is going to bring me the rest of the parts early next week.  I actually did do some work in the shop, I ran out of shop clothes and had to go ahead and finish wiring and plumbing my washer and dryer in the shop to do some laundry.  Washed about 3 years worth of rags and shop clothing.

Tonight I decided to lift the body off the dolly and just give the underside a once over.  Before I lifted it up though I needed to clean to get all the fiberglass dust vacuumed off.  I also know I am getting some aftermarket replacement cubby doors so I took my rigged up ones out.  Sure enough I crawl under the body and find a glaring problem.  The driver side seat mount bar is missing its welded on nut and looks pretty mangled.  I decide to drill out the rivets and repair the bar.
